I. Transfer of Players in Sport

Professional transfers are regulated by a complex set of regulations established by sports governing bodies. Rules are subject to a large degree of standardisation at international level through international sports institutions such as FIFA for football and FIBA for basketball. The last fifteen years have represented a substantial change in the European football’s transfer market.
